Sitting on 670 beautiful acres of woodlands & seaside land, Seaview Golf Club was the home of the 1942 PGA Championship won by Sam Snead! And annually hosts the LPGA Tour’s Shoprite LPGA Classic tournament! The history of golf in America is surely represented at Seaview … with the quality of the golf facilities still outstanding!
The Bay Course: Designed by Donald Ross (arguably the greatest golf course architect to ever live) and Hugh Wilson (designer of Merion Golf Club – a top 10 golf course in the US). Presents a Scottish links feel with dramatic seaside views. The course is the current host of the ShopRite LPGA Classic.
The Pines Course: Designed by William Flynn (an integral part of the design team for Shinnecock Hills, Merion, & The Country Club of Brookline, all hosting multiple Major Championships) & Howard Toomey. Winds its way through New Jersey Woodlands presenting elevation change & doglegs abound. The course features the 16th hole where Sam Snead miraculously chipped-in a 60-footer to win the 1942 PGA Championship … his 1st of 7 Major Championships!
Hotel: A classic hotel from the ‘Golden Age Of South Jersey’ that brings you back to that era. Especially after recently completing a $17million upgrade. Guests are invited to experience the modern redesign, inspired by the hotel’s celebrated Jersey Shore history, featuring a hint of art deco nostalgia paired with cool, coastal blues and modern, comfortable finishes.
