You may not know about Oakridge CC,
But Bell’s father designed a PGA Tour course
That Tiger Woods won 8 times on…
Torrey Pines
Unfortunately, Bell’s father passed away before Torrey could be built
So Bell Jr. took his father’s design and created the masterpiece

Local course design legend… and a California course design family
We’re excited to see the this amazing field of players navigate the course

In the field this week…
A few fun stories arise
Mike Weir, a former Masters Champion
Preston Summerhays, a highscool senior and the reigning US Junior Am Champion
And Daniel Summerhays,
Preston’s uncle.. who has 2 Top-10 finishes in PGA Tour Major Championships,
And will be retiring from professional golf after this event
