When you analyze your golf swing … do you judge yourself by how well you hit the ball on the Driving Range … or how you play on the golf course?
Your answer interests me because I’ve never met a human that hits the ball equally as well in both places … with Mo Norman being the closest I’ve witnessed.
The amount of Consistency you see in your game relates to the disparity between your ‘range swing’ and ‘your course swing’. Meaning – a Golfer that feels fairly good about their swing on the range, but stinks it up on the course … is most likely ‘A Ball Beater’!
Definition of a ‘Ball Beater” – a frustrated Golfer that hits ball after ball while regularly trying out a new swing tip or scanning their memory banks to remember an old tip that helped in the past.
Perhaps you know someone like that?
